Tobias Becker
*1975 in Mönchengladbach, studied fine arts at the UdK in Berlin, the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, USA. Tobias Becker works in the media of object and model making, painting, photography and cartography, dealing with the perception and construction of space and strategies of spatial location. After teaching assingments at TU Berlin, RWTH Aachen and HfG Karlsruhe, since 2021 Professor of Design and Design Theory, Department of Architecture, University of Siegen.    Lives and works in Cologne.

Astrid Piethan
*1973 in Mönchengladbach, studied visual communication at the FH Aachen with Wilhelm Schürmann and fine arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Magdalena Jetelova. Together with Jörg Koslowski she forms the artist duo DAN DRYER. Starting from fundamental existential questions, which take into account both scientific phenomena and spiritual rites, DAN DRYER has been developing site-specific, often interactive installations, sculptures, video works and performances since 2000. Astrid Piethan lives and works as a freelance photographer for portrait and reportage in Cologne. She works as a lecturer for photography and media design at various universities in NRW.
